Visit

Plan a Visit

What to expect when you visit our church. We would love to see you!

Step 1

When you arrive

Ample parking

We have a large parking lot behind our church building and a couple of handicapped spaces in front if needed. After parking, most people enter the church from the glass door in the side of the building with the "Welcome" decal on it.

Friendly greeters

Two greeters are posted just outside the main auditorium every Sunday morning. They will welcome you and hand you a Program and Welcome Packet, and they are glad to help with any questions, like where to find the restroom or nursery. If you arrive late, a hall monitor will be nearby to assist you.

Comfortable seating

Our auditorium has rows of individual padded seats that you will find very comfortable. We anticipate guests every week, so you can rest assured that we will have plenty of seats available for you and your entire family.

Step 2

The worship service

We begin promptly at 10:00am. You may wish to arrive 10 minutes early so you have time to get a Program, drop your children off in the nursery (if you have young children), and find a seat in the auditorium. However, if you are a little late, it's okay! We would rather have you a little late than to have you not come at all!

People from all walks of life. On a typical Sunday morning about 80-100 people gather for worship. Our congregation is multi-generational and comes from all walks of life. We have visitors in attendance most weeks, but we never single them out!

A variety of clothing styles. Our pastors always wear a tie, but most of the congregation dresses more casually. Most men wear a collared shirt and dress pants, though some wear flannel and jeans. Most women come in a dress, skirt, or dress slacks. We are not preoccupied with attire. We simply ask people to dress in a way that will not be a distraction to others.

We worship God in song

Our instrumentation includes a piano, organ, euphonium, and other classical instruments. We try to provide a blend of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs each week which reflect the best of the Christian tradition, past and present.

Prayer, Scripture and a sermon

Our pastor typically speaks for about 35 minutes, and his speaking style is conversational. The purpose of each sermon is to help us understand and apply a specific Bible passage.

Bring a Bible, or take one

Our pastor preaches from the English Standard Version (ESV). If you don't own an ESV Bible you may use one of the many Bibles under the chairs. We also have gift ESV Bibles in the main hallway that you are welcome to take home at no charge.

Step 3

After worship

Enjoy light refreshments in Grace Cafe. Grace Cafe is housed in the church Fellowship Hall. Coffee, juice, fruit, crackers, and danishes are offered free of charge. It's a great way to get to know people in an informal setting.

Join a Growth Groups class. Following Grace Cafe, until noon, we offer age-graded classes. Each class is suited to the age and needs of the group. Our adult classes offer outstanding education in Bible, theology, Christian history, and practical Christian living.
